Grace Carroll is the Cultural Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu. Prior to coming to Nepal, she served her first tour in Guangzhou, China as a Consular Officer. Ms. Carroll completed her B.A. at the University of Washington in Seattle and her M.A. at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Between these two degrees, she worked in Japan and Burma as an English teacher. Her work experiences in different cultures have given her valuable insight on study abroad and how students can best prepare to succeed.
